 ①This pie chart clearly reflects the purposes of students’ travel in a university. ②As showed in the diagram, 37% of college students travel in a bid to admire the view. ③Next comes the aim of relieving pressure, accounting for 33%. ④By contrast, the percentages of students travel with the aim of making friends,developing the ability to be independent and others are accounting for 9%, 6% and 15% respectively.

①There are several primary reasons to explain this phenomenon. ②To begin with, we can enrich our life experience through traveling. ③While traveling, we can marvel at the deep valley of the Grand Canyon together with other tourists, or go free diving in The Great Barrier Reef along with all kinds of marine creatures. ④Students can get a better and deeper understanding of the local customs and practices, experiencing people’s joy and sorrow on different lands and in different times. ⑤What’s more, with the unparalleled improvement of society, college students may also have to juggle academic work, romantic relationship and a busy social calendar. ⑥Therefore, travelling seems to beone way for them to manage and reduce stress successfully.

Taking all these factors into consideration, it can be predicted that admiring the scenery and alleviating pressure will still be main purposes for college students to arrange a traveling in the forth coming decade due to the ever-increasing pressure.
