如今宇宙渴求自身被人所
知见，也是我们在世所求
星辰辉光凭空出现在露台上
泛红那种如翻新的砖墙

我们何其有幸
想象如此之事要花钱
在周围数个秒差距范围内
此乃唯一金钱产出之处
就算在此也非人人皆可拿住
重担落在拥有者肩上
我们欣然承担这个
职责，去筹划这些领域
历经多少失败的太阳
多少滥用的基因
多少次百万人沉沦绝望
我们才被赋予这不可
言败的抱雪向火

每每想到它
有时便令人胆寒
如此深远地球自身的气息
会拉回到它的骨骸
在那恐惧吮吸的穹窿
有人因那闪烁之物而颤抖
光芒寻常不现。这解释了
瞳孔为何扩散与我为何保护它们
当这样做让我远离你们
所有地球上沉迷你们污染
日常的人大概难有停顿
更遑论践行改变
我们之所见：你们触及别的世界
有多远，你的世界就有救多少。

1.秒差距（parsec）是一个宇宙距离尺度，用以测量太阳系以外天体的距离。1秒差距定义为某一天体与1天文单位的对角为1角秒时的距离，2015年时被重新定义为一个精确值，为648,000/π天文单位。1秒差距的距离等同于3.26光年。

Now the universe wants to be known for
Itself, isn’t that why we’re here
Popped out on this terrace the color of stars
The red ones like gentrified brick

Lucky for us
It takes money to even imagine
Such things and this, for parsecs around
Is the one place where money is made
Though not everyone has it, not even here
The burden is on those who do
Which we freely take up
A volitional duty to curate the spheres
After how many misfired suns
And misapplied genes
How many millions fed to despair
Before we were brought to the task
Thankless, that cannot be failed

Just to think of it
Sometimes engenders a chill
So thorough the planet’s own breath
Will draw back on its bones
And there in that vault sucked by fear
One has shivered at twinkles of something
Not normally shown. It explains
The wide pupils and why I protect them
When doing so keeps me from you
All involved on the earth with your chores
Of pollution and likely never to pause
Let alone practice
What we’ve observed: as far as you touch
Other worlds, that much you save yours
