精力管理也具有周期性

Sadly, the need for recovery is often viewed as evidence of weakness rather than as an integral aspect of sustained performance. The result is that we give almost no attention to renewing and expanding our energy reserves, individually or organizationally.

可悲的是,恢复精力的需求被看作虚弱的表现,而非可持续高效表现的不可或缺的部分。这导致的结果是我们对精力恢复和储备毫不在意,个人和组织都是如此!

To maintain a powerful pulse in our lives, we must learn how to rhythmically spend and renew energy. The richest, happiest and most productive lives are characterized by the ability to fully engage in the challenge at hand, but also to disengage periodically and seek renewal.

为了保持生命的强有力的律动,我们必须学会如何有节奏地消耗和更新精力!最丰富、最幸福和最有生产力的生命的重要特征是能全情投入到手头的挑战,也能够间断放松以获得精力恢复。


我的思考My Thinking

最近我原来越认可一个观点:万事万物皆有周期!
Recently I'm coming to recognize: Everything has cycles.

精力是有周期的,大约90分钟一个周期,因此冗长的会议并不会高效;
Energy: appr. 90 min, so long boring meeting is not so performing as expected;

睡眠是有周期的,大约90分钟一个周期,这样可以安排自己的睡眠时间;
Sleeping cycle: appr. 90 min, which can be referred to adjust sleeping;

经济是有周期的,有高有低,投资要顺势而为;
Economy has high and low cycles, which investors should respects

人要日出而作,日落而息,与日月合其明,与四时合其序;
People should work at dawn, and stopped work at sunset, following the seasons.

人的情绪也是有周期的,时好时坏,有低潮期也有高潮期;
Emotion has cycles, good and bad, high and low.

周期是客观存在的,我们用开放的心态来对待是最明智的,处于周期的低谷时,我们平静地接受,良好地对待是最佳策略。
Cycles exist independent of man‘s will. We can accept wisely and peacefully, especially when we're at the bottom of cycles.

但现实中,很多人没意识到这周期的存在或不愿意接受,希望自己永远保持高能运作状态,这回进入不良的循环,长期下来会导致崩溃!
However in reality, many peoples aren't aware of the cycles or refuse to accept, and hope to keep high performing for ever which results in bad cycles and being worn out in the end.
