Priest

Some people go to friends,

For happiness and grief.

But I go to my priest,

For forgiveness and sin.

I see myself shivering,

Feeling heartily sorry

For messing up everything

And driving my priest crazy.

I see you frowning

Whenever I confess helplessly.

I thank you every time

For the peace you bring to my heart.

For you are my priest and God,

And my everything in the world.
