introduction
this report aims to evaluate the factory in India that our company plans to outsource our production too. the presented information is based on what I observed during my visit to this factory.
finding
ABC company, the factory I recently paid a visit to, is located in the north of India, what impressed me most is that the workers of the factory are very experienced in managing their daily operations, however, some small problems exist with the company's equipment. for example, some component parts of the equipment need to be replaced with more efficient ones.
based on a rough estimate, if we outsource part of our production to the factory, we will save $10,000 per year.
conclusion
it is feasible to outsource part of our production to ABC company, but something has to be improved before decisions are made.
recommendation
it is the recommendation that a second visit should be paid to ABC company before we make the final decision.
