People may have sorrow or joy, be near or far apart

人有悲欢离合

The moon may be dim or bright, wax or wane

月有阴晴圆缺

This has been going on since the beginning of time

此事古难全

May we all be blessed with longevity

但愿人长久

Though far apart, we are still able to share the beauty of the moon together

千里共婵娟

How long does it take to forget someone?

忘记一个人需要多久？

If you don't care, it could be one second;

如果你不在乎，一秒钟就可以；

But if you do, it might take forever.

如果你还在乎，可能需要一辈子。
