This remark was made by Pierre Paul, the principal of Nobuta Primary School in Grand Shatou, New York. The word "you" refers to Roger Rawls, a mischievous student at that time. Rawls Jr. was born in the notorious Great Sandhead slum in New York, USA, where the environment is dirty and violent, and where stowaways and vagrants gather. As a result, he has been adversely affected since childhood. He often plays truant, fights and steals in primary school. One day, when he jumped off the windowsill and reached for the platform with his little hand, Principal Pierre Paul caught him straight. Unexpectedly, instead of criticizing him, the headmaster sincerely said the above sentence and gave him guidance and encouragement.

Rawls'clothes were no longer stuck to earth, Rawls' language was no longer dirty and ugly, Rawls'actions were no longer protracted and aimless. Over the next 40 years, he did not one day demand himself as governor. At the age of 51, he finally became governor of New York State.
