They say when you jump off the cliff

Just look into the sky

Far far away

And you would probably start thinking you turn into a bird

I don’t know what I was thinking when I jump off

I just feel the wind blowing through my ears

And next thing I know

Water running through my nose

And the taste of blood

It’s definitely not feeling good

But when you get off

There’s nothing in the world could compare to that sense of proud of yourself

Even it’s just last for a few seconds

But you will feel like

Hell yeah

Damn right, I did it

And that very second

No matter how many times you rehearse in your brain

You can not really feel something not yet happen

Because you just simply don’t know

What’s it like

So you thought you gonna think of something

Maybe finally you get to figure out

At the very minute of close to death

You hope the meaning of life will eventually come to you

After all with all the efforts you put through

And omg, the courage...

The most scary part is the walk to the cliff

That might take forever

And anything can stop you

Your hesitation may stop you

Others people’s encouragement or warnings may stop you

Your mind may stop you

You body may definitely stop you

You can feel the heart beat so strongly that it almost like bumping out of your chest

You could hear the sound of your breath

And other people who care about you and worry about you

They literally tell you to stop

They say we love you as a coward

But no

You don’t want to just give up

Even it’s a meaningless jump

It feels like you don’t want to look back and wondering what if

So

your curiosity finally wins over

And it all just take one deep breath

Off you go

The thing is

When you jump

You won’t look into the sky

Neither did you look down

Fear gets you and close your eyes

Nothing on your mind

Nothing restrains you

Nothing holds you back

At that moment

All that you could feel

You have nothing

absolutely nothing

And nothing have you either
