2. 体会这个词 （进阶篇）

“conform”是动词，常用来表示“与…一致”“遵从”，是一个有些难度不过非常常见、实用的词。conform 可以是及物动词也是不及物动词，作不及物动词时后面常接 to 或者 with，我们通过几个例子掌握它的用法。

比如有些人不循规蹈矩，我们就可以说：

He refused to conform to the rules that applied to ordinary men.
