英文版

All these are forms, and they are also manifestations, and external appearances. The concrete contents of all these manifestations is not what is most important .

What is most important is whether or not they can touch you , whether or not they can make you think, whether or not they can ignite the spiritual light of your inner mind.

Therefore, whenever you are reading some books of wisdom, do not take "translating them" as your goal. Use your mind to go experience their inner truth, and taste and enter into that great ocean of wisdom that lies hidden behind the text.

Only if you do this, will you avoid feeling confused by terms which appear repeatedly but with different concrete meanings, or by confused logic which at first sight appears contradictory.

Only if you do this will you not be disoriented by the intricate complexities of the apparent forms of the world as they are born and die away again and again.(page 225)

~An excerpt from The World is a Reflection of the Mind.
