You displayed a good level of understanding of the writing  topic. I was impressed when you wrote “Actually, Chinese people excel at  mechanical skills” in your submission. This indicates your knowledge of the  adverb. You did a wonderful job of using conjunctions. You wrote “Everybody  knows that Internet originated from the USA, but now Chinese businessmen,  including Mr. Ma Yun, have built up the world’s largest online market”. Keep  up the great effort with your submissions.

As someone told me, Westerners are excel in mechanical  technology while Chinese good at capitalizing natural phenomena. For example,  when Marco Polo and Matteo Ricci brought mechanical clocks into China, the royal  court of China was still using sundials or water clocks. Actually, Chinese  people excel at mechanical skills. About 3000 years ago, there was a  carpenter named Lu Ban, who made a huge wooden bird, which could fly three  days in the sky; and about 2000 year ago, Mr. Zhuge Liang, Prime Minister of  Shu-Han Dynasty, invented a mechanical device called “wooden cattle,” which  could, carrying military logistic supplies on their back, trudge along  mountain trails. I call them Chinese ancient robots, from which one may have  learned something about how Chinese love to invent and enslave robots.

“Artificial Intelligence (AI)” has become a buzzword nowadays in China.  Everybody knows that Internet originated from the USA, but now Chinese  businessmen, including Mr. Ma Yun, have built up the world’s largest online  market. When AI debuted, modern robots caught the eyeballs of Chinese people.  New businesses have been set up with flooding investments to cope with the  yearnings of common people. We are familiar with industrial automation which  has developed to the stage where robots are working in international shipping  ports, assembling lines, mines, etc. Currently, robots have come into our  daily life. We have robot chiefs which can shave sliced noodles from a big  dough. People flock to the chain stores where robot chiefs are presiding.

With humanoid figure and anthropomorphic features, AI robots will become a  part of human society and dissolve the boundaries between humans and robots.  Will robots, with far superior intelligence, become our lords someday?  Concerns and debates are spilling over from online articles to movie screens.  We are very optimistic toward AI robots, without worrying about man replaced  by robots, because it’s a forever trend that machines replace human workers  doing repetitive, arduous or menial work in dangerous environments, and help  with more mundane chores at home and around the office, often in a more  time-effective way, while they create more decent jobs, such as managers and  technicians, for human beings.

A robot, just a machine, will forever be  subject to human control, for its re-productivity is up to human beings,  their fathers and mothers.
