After more than 40 years of buying the restaurant Eng, A Chinese-American restaurant in the Hudson valley, Mr. Sit is reluctantly considering retirement.

Across the country, there are many Chinese restaurant owners like Eng's are ready to retire but have no one to pass the business to. And the share of Chinese restaurants in the top 20 metropolitan areas has been consistently falling.
