雅思口语PART1-"YES/NO”"问题解

“YES/NO”类的问题是雅思口语考试PART 1最常考的一种题型，通常的提问方式如下：

Is reading important for children?

Is bird watching popular in your country?

Is playing a musical instrument important for children?

Is playing sports important for children?

Is traditional dance popular in China?

大多数的考生回答如下：

Yes，reading is very important for children because they can get a lot of knowledge and experience from books. Reading can help children improve social skills and provide them with plenty of fun.

Yes，reading is very important for children. Firstly，reading helps children to develop vital language skills. Secondly，reading can provide children with endless hours of fun and entertainment. Last but not least，reading can open up new worlds and enrich children's lives.

上面两个回答均能帮助考生获得6分甚至6.5分的成绩，但考生如果想取得更高的分数，则需将回答进一步完善。上面两个回答的问题分别在于：

回答1：重复使用问题中的句型和词汇(reading is very important for children)；缺乏连词的使用，衔接和连贯性较差。

回答2：重复使用问题中的句型和词汇(reading is very important for children)；虽然使用了一些连词，但是每个论述点都略显单薄，考生应在每点理由后加上一两句话作补充说明。

Well，certainly in some aspects reading is really good for children，especially when you think about the point that reading is an important source of knowledge and pleasure that can last a lifetime. On the other hand，you also have to realize that most children aren't able to distinguish right from wrong，so some blue books will corrupt their minds. So all in all my answer is probably yes and no.

Answer 2的优点在于：答案从正反两个方面对问题进行阐述，在考场上考生由于比较紧张，很难从一个方面想到两三点理由，因此最好的方法便是从正反两个方面(advantage/disadvantage ) 进行讨论。
