Passion and New Year Wish

Most romantic thing I’ve heard today, from Xiao Lu,my favorite blogger.

Thought I haven’t written anything in english for quite a long while, nor had I done anything related to English this month,except for reading the papers occasionally and watching Xiao Lu’s livestream,( I’ve always had a thing for his English humour), so I might as well write this one in English.

I watched an impressive livestream yesterday,a professor in Linguistics guided us and shared with us how he read a paper, helpful and instructive.

Good thing is that I thought I have finally found the thing and a career and a field that I am truly passionate about,that I wake up everyday feeling excited about exploring more in this field, problem is that I have to work hard on enriching my background knowledge in Linguistics and hopefully will be lucky enough to get a phd in that field.

Life is really a box of chocolate,and you never know what’s next.Half a year ago,I never tought in my wildest dream that I would be so overwhelmed by Linguistics and Japanese.Linguistics is the subject I got just a passing grade in university and Japanese culture is something I would be least interested in during all these past years.

For New Year’s resolution,just be healthy and be happy.
