解析：

第一句：可是究竟是南方，每冬下雪不过一二次。

译文：However, it was a pity that, living in the south, we could have snowfall only once or twice each winter.

1、注意一下 it was a pity 的表达，之所以提醒大家看上下文，是因为作者对于白马湖之冬及雪景还是比较欣赏与喜爱的。因此，译文增译pity一句，很完美地向英文读者传达了原文意涵。

2、注意一下snowfall这个词，上次练习已有解析。

第二句：我在那里所日常领略的冬的情味，几乎都从风来。

译文：Hence it was from the wind only that I could in my daily get a taste of winter.

如果要正确处理这句话，我们必须首先准确理解中文含义。

请注意这句和第一句之间有关联，也就是说因为“南方下雪一两次”，所以领略白马湖冬的况味，是通过风而领略。

正因为隐藏了这样一层因果关系，所以译文用了Hence一词。并且翻译时还要表达出原文“从风中领略冬天”的含义，所以参考译文用了from wind.
