最基本的：把词念准; 重读代表很强的信息

先听后说：We've got a lot of personalities around here. [goda lod dis] got, around, here 不要读太重

重音： work with them; work with him [them, him 不要读太重] pattern: Sorry about that.

Day 8

语音：

stomach 两种读法； feel 【元音】

表达：

1. 获得，拿到手 under your belt 收入囊中  

If you take...course, you'll have three credits under your belt. 

2.  对...了如指掌  know sth inside (and) out

3. 完全不同：That's an entirely different animal.

4. 天差地别：That's  a different animal= a world of difference

5. 放心 十拿九稳 in the bag (= a sure thing)

6. 失败后重新开始 go back to the drawing board

7. 是要学点儿东西 there may be a thing or two to learn 。 （a few things ）

8. beef up = improve, add to 

9. 你误会我了 get sb wrong; miss the point

10. 不行：no can do

11. make a splash 广而告之

12. give sb the hard sell 使用手段让对方买 （soft sell 软文 ）

13. off the record 私下说; 别声张

14. 没有额外的费用：at no extra charge

15. 以较小的代价获得较大的受益：more bang for the buck 

有关生病的表达

我可生不起病： I can't afford to get sick.

什么部位很疼： My arm/head/ stomach is killing me. 

生病：call in sick/ under the weather/ not feel so hot/ there's something going around/ as sick as a dog

恢复健康：tip-top shape (We want you back in tip-top shape.)

不建议某人做什么 （注意英文中的说话习惯）
