Life is not a show(生活不是一场秀)

人的欲望是无止境的，就像女人的衣服，买了这件，总觉得又缺了那件。

Desire is restless. It's just like that woman never stops buying clothes but they are always short of one piece of desired clothing.

没钱的时候1万觉得很多，慢慢地，10万、100万也觉得很少，因为人总是在跟更高的目标攀比。

When you are really poor, 10 thousand is a big sum. But gradually you find 100 thousand or even 1 million is still a small amount because you constantly compare what you have with the higher aim.

但是，很多穷人富裕了，却又不知如何花钱，只有机械地买买买，买最贵的，以此展示自己今非昔比的尊贵身份。悲催的是，人只有在得不到或付出很大代价得到的时候才会更加开心和珍惜，所以这样的消费方式除了满足虚荣之外并无任何快感。

However, when many poor get rich, they don't know how to spend money. The only way they know is to buy the dearest object like a buying machine in order to show their now different valued identity. What's more, the sad story is always like that people tend to be happier or cherished more when things are not available or available after heavy cost is paid. Therefore, the consumption pattern of  buying the most expensive one can provide no pleasure but vanity.

有人说，任何事都要享受过程，哪怕酸甜苦辣，因为等来了结果，片刻的情感波动之后，你就会发现一切索然无味。那就寻找新的目标吧，由此，开始了永恒的运动，所以哲学说：变是绝对的。

Someone say that we should enjoy the process, both joys and sorrows, because after one moment of emotional vibration  brought by the long-awaited result, we will find that nothing is interesting any more. Then we need to seek a new aim, and thus the eternal motion begins. No wonder philosophy says change is absolute. 

今天，和朋友讨论土豪的花钱之道，都觉得最好的花钱方式就是开个公司，自己担任总经理。这样，既有事情可做，不会空虚，收获尊重，带动就业，又可以很快帮你花钱，因为公司经营各种费用支出，每月的银行流水会自动帮你花钱。而且，万一你有天赋呢，搞不好一不小心还大赚一笔。多好的方式啊！

既然欲望是无止境的，有钱无钱都有烦恼，那为何不找个中间状态呢？我有钱，够花；我又没那么有钱，有时间花。中国人的中庸之道，适时而退。通常人爬到一定高度，很难再下来，惧怕虚荣心受挫以及世俗的眼光。说白了，就是活给别人看，不敢活出真正的自己，或者不知道自己真正想要的是什么。

Since human desire is endless and there are troubles for both the rich and the poor, then why not seek an intermediate state? I am rich enough to support my family financially and accompany my family physically. This is the so-called Golden Mean proposed by the Chinese saint Confucius. It's a wisdom of knowing when to slow down, or even quit yourself, because usually when people climb to a certain altitude, they are too worried about the frustration of vanity as well as worldly opinions to climb down again. To make it more simple, they just show to others and dare not live for themselves, or they even have no idea of what they really need deeply in heart. 

然而，有人骨子里就是强悍，有着雄心壮志和宏伟抱负，那么即使忙于事业，无暇花钱也无所谓，因为他的内心还是得到了极大的满足。所以说，最重要的是你的内心真正想要的是什么，之后进行选择，并平静地接受和喜爱自己以及自己的选择。

As for those who are inborn strongers with great ambitions and aspirations, even if they are too busy to spend money, it's ok for them since they can still get the huge satisfaction from work. So what's the most important is to find what you really need deeply in heart, then make your choice, finally accept and love your choice as well as yourself in a calm mood.
