这是CBBC出品的一档儿童节目，用很诙谐的方式来讲述一些历史的细节。虽然是儿童节目，但成人来看依旧好看好玩。BBC的执行制片人Kim Shillinglaw说《糟糕的历史》将会“充满血腥、战斗和黑色幽默——同时也会告诉孩子们一些伟大的历史事件以及他们是如何发生的。”

Terrible Tudors 都铎王朝：1485-1603年间，统治英格兰亡国和其属土的王朝，属于英国专制历史上的黄金时期。从亨利七世到伊丽莎白一世为止。
Gorgeous Georgians 乔治王时代：至大不列颠王国汉诺威王朝1714年-1837年时间，期间思维乔治王。
Silly Stuarts 斯图亚特王朝：1371-1714年间统治苏格兰，1603-1714年间统治英格兰和爱尔兰的王朝。斯图亚特是第一个成功统治整个不列颠群岛的王室。
