一、字词

1.

释义： in the clear, 这里指清白无辜，不负责任的。

例句： If he smiles to you, you know that you are in the clear.

2.

释义： drill sb on, 这里理解的是和Rowley串通好。get busted, 被逮到。做坏事被抓到。

例句： He will get busted while he is stealing toothpaste in that supermarket.

3.

释义：break down, 崩溃。还有“分解”的意思。

例句： After losing everthing, he finally break down.

二、句子

结构： I pay the price for it. 为此付出代价。

造句： You know you will pay the price for it as you killed his families.

三、作文

I decided to ride a bike to home today as I missed one bus. I can tell you it is the best way to practise. It took me half an hour to home, but I couldn't feel my legs when I was home.
