In many ways  the work of a critic is easy .We risk very little. yet enjoy a position over those ,who offer up their work  and their selves to our judgment .We thrive on negative criticism ,which is fun to write and to read .But the bitter  true we critics most face is that In the grand scheme of things ,the average  piece of junk is probably more meaningful Then our criticism designating i it so .But there are times when the critic truly risks something and that is in the discovery and defense of the new .The world is often unkind to new talent new creations .The new needs friends .Last night  I experienced something new,an extraordinary meal  from a singularly unexception source .To say that both the meal and its maker have challenged my preconceptions about fine cooking,It's a gross understatement .They have rocked me to my core. In the past ,I have made no secret of my disdain for Cheif Gusteau's famous motto,“Anyone can cook ”But I realize only now  to. I truly understand what he meant.Not everyone can become a great artist ,but our great artist can come from anywhere .It is difficult to imagine more humble orgins Than those of the genius now cooking at Gusteau's,who is,Is this critic's opinion  ,nothing less than the finest chief in France .I will be returning to Gusteau's soon,hungry for more .The happiest of my life .But the only thing predictable about life Is its  unpredictability.

二.感悟

        其实说正像厨神所说的那样,人无法给一些事情一个很绝对性的论断。比如,你对一个残疾人说“就你,还参加运动会?开什么玩笑。”或者戴着有色眼镜去评价他人的衣着品位,音乐品位,进而还会深入评价到他们的家庭经济,地区,职业等等。

        然而说,这是多么无情冷漠的言语呢?他们同样也有热爱奥运的权利。很高心我们祖国有了残奥会,这正是给予那些朋友们认可和尊重,因为人人平等。请不要随意去论断人和事。
