Using Vim to edit text in Linux
Several weeks ago, we were becoming more and more familiar with the basic commands. So, Teacher Cai taught us more new things this week. We preliminarily understood 'using Vim to edit text'.Let me show you some basic operations about it.In Vim, firstly it is different from our custom about the direction key. The key 'j' is the symbol of 'up', 'h' represents 'left', 'k' means 'down', 'l' delegates 'right'. Next, there are some frequently-used keys that we need to remenber. 'x' means 'delete', ‘u’ means 'cancel', 'Ctrl+R' represents 'cancel again'. Entering 'q' makes you 'recording mode'. Especially to deserve to be mentioned, if we want to edit our previous report, we must add '```' on the top and bottom of the content, otherwise, it will output text in the shape of a straight line. This point should be paid attention to. In addition, deleting a line can press 'x' while you designate the whole line. Things above are something useful because wo can use them in the future days. Mastering the skills might make us all right.
