Tell me about yourself.

I am I am a cheerful, patient and hard-working girl stuying Mechanical Engineering.

My research interests include Big data analysis and statistical machine learning (Predictive modeling and uncertainty quantification).

I am from a small town in South part of China. (Southern China)

I always believe that if you smile to the world, the world will smile back to you.

And in my spare time, I love reading and running.(Fortress Besieged, a Novel by Qian Zhongshu).
The novel is a humorous tale about middle-class Chinese society in the late 1930s.
The title is based on a French proverb:Marriage is like a fortress besieged: those who are outside want to get in, and those who are inside want to get out.

Why do you want to work here?

As my family pay my tuition and living expense, I want to earn some money on my own to reduce their financial burden. And I think it is also a good chance for me to gain some experience.

What are your strength?

I am a very hard-working and self-motivated person, and I always want to and are trying to improve myself. For example, when I first baked cakes, I did a bad job and made it very dry and plain. However, I didn't give up or feel frustrated; instead, in the following five days, I cooked cakes everyday and each time I tried to improve my way of cooking like adjusting the cooking time and oven temperature, or changing the portion of flour and eggs in the recipe. Practice makes perfect. Finally, I can make great cakes and my roommates said the cakes I made are delicious.

What are your weakness?

做事情比较急，缺乏工作经验。（实际工程和项目的）
Although I took part in several group projects previously, I don't have any real-life working experience.

Good service?

A heart for customer. First, we should love the people we serve and treat them like our friends or family. Second, we should think about and understand their true needs and therefore figure out where we can improve to provide our customers with a better experience. Finally, we might build a community

What accomplishment are you most proud of and why?

I once worked as the team leader in a project.

Describe something went wrong and how you dealt with it.

On the day before the final competition, the teammate who are responsible for giving the presentation felt sick. 我基于之前每个团队成员的工作安排，重新调整工作分配。同时，我决定自己负责give a presentation because as the leader of our team, I am the person who are most familiar with our project and might be the best one to present our project from how the primitive idea was form, how our model was evolved along the time in different stages, how we tested our models and made adjustments accordingly.
我连夜熟悉展示稿，一遍遍地联系模拟做presentation。
As a result, after the presentation, a lot of people showed great interest in our projects, including some professor and professional engineering, 并且在足后投票环节我们得到了很多选票，and our team won the first place in the competition.

Where do you see yourself in five years' time?

Compound talents are needed in the society and it is compulsory/necessary for me to study continuously to keep abreast with the times.

More and more problems are resolved by software. In some fields, the hardware is completely replaced by software. Therefore, I think the software industry has a promising/bright future.
