Imagination is our ultimate comp

There's a question. Will human beings lose their jobs due to the development of artificial intelligence? In a word, even if artificial intelligence is powerful enough to handle many complicated tasks, what is the difference between mankind and machinery ? In what field, are humans more likely to have advantages over artificial intelligence?

The answer previously given is

creativity. Works that lack creativity will be replaced by machines, and creative jobs will be reserved for humans.

But this statement is not true either. You can't say that playing chess does not need creativity, right? This activity involves highly active brains and imagination, which is eventually conquered by artificial intelligence? On the other hand,doing all kinds of household chores including laundry, cooking, childcare is not realistic for AI at the moment. Therefore, the ultimate way of defeating machines is not creativity.

However, humans have the ability to form a combined imagination by connecting irrelevant things . This imagination is not just the simple act of imagining a white cloud as a rabbit, but the competency to build a common belief.

For instance, when we see a book on a seat, it is easy for us to realize that the seat is occupied by one person. We have the capacity to consider properties, staff, business, products as a company; We also can imagine a set of code and a set of animations as a powerful weapon in a game, and then use the weapon to dominate the game world.

These abilities are imagination that we are talking about today.

This is the foundation of human wealth and civilization, and the fundamental difference between human species and all other species.

No matter how powerful artificial intelligence can be, it has developed based on computer. Whether it is a current computer or a quantum computer which is being developed, it is still essentially a so-called Turing machine which is only able to carry out logical operation. At present, it is impossible for machines to reach the top of ‘combined imagination’ mountain.
