Good morning friends!
How was your weekend? Mine was uneventful. Since I started playing volleyball games on Friday nights, I usually got very tired after. It took me more time to recover on the weekends. I found that playing competitive game sports is very different from endurance sports such as running or biking. It's also the age factor, definitely in my case. And I seemed never having enough time to do what I wanted to do.
I have read an article about time and productivity. It was a good idea to spend some time planning on my calendar for my next day. The author called it "time blocking". You block out time segments for tasks that you want to do. This way you would improve your focus and get more meaningful work done.
To make it simple, if you want to be productive in your day, start planning. The following is a direct quote from the article that may help:
- Take 10 minutes every evening and plan your next day. 2. Rearrange blocks if you must create time for other important things.
- Use recurring blocks for recurring tasks. For instance,
- Don’t over-schedule. Realistically, you can’t be productive 10 hours straight. Give yourself some time between tasks.
- Always schedule more time than you think you need.
I think I will try to be more productive by planning my time better. I hope this will also help you.
Have a great week! Cheers!
