What Is Water

Miss Richard was a teacher at a school. She taught chemistry and Physics from the lowest to the highest classes in the school.Sometimes  the new classes learned rapidly. but sometimes they were very slow,and then Mss Richard had to repeat many things many times.

One year, a class had been studying chemistry several weeks when Miss Richard suddenly asked, Water is water?Who knows?Hands up!"

There was silence for a few seconds, and Miss Richard felt sad, but then one boy raised his hand.

"Yes,Dick?" said Miss Richard encouraging. He was not one of the brightest children in the class,so she was glad that he could answer.

"Water is a liquid which has no colour until you  wash your hands in it . Then it turns black." the boy replied with great confidence.

水是什么

理查德小姐在一所学校当老师。她教低年级到高年级的化学和物理。有时候新班的学生课学得很快，但是有时很慢，这时理查德小姐就得重复好多遍。

有一年，一个班已经学了几个星期的化学，理查德小姐突然问：“水是什么？谁知道，举手！”

有几秒钟的安静，理查德感到很沮丧，然后一个男孩举起了手。

“好，迪克。”理查德说，声音里充满鼓励。他不是班里最聪明的孩子，因此她很高兴他可以回答。

“水是一种无色液体，如果你用它洗手，它就会变黑。”男孩说，带着自信。
