Notes:
The narrator meets two young girls, one of whom he knows to be Daisy, and another unknown but is later known to be Miss. Baker. The chat between them proceeds as something insignificant with a slight mentioning to Gatsby, but the ought-to-be proceeding of the allusion of Gatsby to a conversation ended due to an interruption about the coming of the dinner. The narrator and Tom got drunk a little, and while Tom was being complacent talking about a book he's read, a sudden phone call interrupted. Daisy told a secret about the Butler, and the middle half of the story ends here.
