《双城记》1

那是最美好的时代，那是最糟糕的时代；

It was the best of times, it was the worst of times,

那是智慧的年头，那是愚昧的年头；

it was the age of wisdom, it was the age of foolishness,

那是信仰的时期，那是怀疑的时期；

it was the epoch of belief, it was the epoch of incredulity，

那是光明的季节，那是黑暗的季节；

it was the season of Light, it was the season of Darkness，

那是希望的春天，那是失望的冬天；

前两天看群里曹阳战友分享的阅读与写作课程，看到了这一段文字，特别喜欢，就摘录下来。这是《双城记》里的开篇，作者是英国作家狄更斯。以前只是听别人说过这本书，现在读了开头，很想看看这本书到底写了什么。

到图书馆借来这本书，很好奇这本书的名字《双城记》，为什么叫《双城记》？看了前面的序言，详细的介绍了故事的背景，人物，结构，语言风格。还是没找到由来，直到看到了第四章，原来是伦敦和巴黎这两个城市。

故事发生在1775年的英法两国，那真是一个社会动乱的年代，抢劫偷盗，乱打乱杀。乱到什么程度呢？一辆邮车上的需要一个带枪的护卫，车上的三人不敢互相交谈，害怕引起麻烦。
