精力好就是精力充沛地去做事

Leaders are the stewards of organizational energy—in companies, organizations and even in families. They inspire or demoralize others first by how effectively they manage their own energy and next by how well they mobilize, focus, invest and renew the collective energy of those they lead. The skillful management of energy, individually and organizationally, makes possible something that we call full engagement.

领导者是组织精力的统筹者,无论是在公司、单位还是家庭中。首先他们有效地管理自己的精力,然后去鼓励或者打击其他人,然后可以带动、专注、投资或更新组织的集体精力。有效的精力管理可以给组织和个人带来我们称之为”全情投入“的状态。

To be fully engaged, we must be physically energized, emotionally connected, mentally focused and spiritually aligned with a purpose beyond our immediate self-interest. Full engagement begins with feeling eager to get to work in the morning,equally happy to return home in the evening and capable of setting clear boundaries between the two. It means being able to immerse yourself in the mission you are on, whether that is grappling with a creative challenge at work, managing a group of people on a project, spending time with loved ones or simply having fun.Full engagement implies a fundamental shift in the way we live our lives.

要全情投入,我们必须体能充沛、情感有链接、精神上专注以及有超越短期利益的目标感(意义感)。全情投入意味着早晨情绪饱满地期待去工作,晚上高高兴兴地回家并能区分好生活和工作。这意味着你能够沉浸在当下的事务,无论是应对工作中创新性挑战,还是管理项目团队,还是与爱人相处或者只是娱乐。全情投入意味着我们生活方式的彻底改变!


我的思考My Thinking

无论是在公司、家庭还是社会中,每个人都在承担着不同的角色和责任,能力越大,责任也就越大,尤其是领导者。作为一名领导者首先要自律,做到以身作则,这样才能更高效地管理团队,若自己整天蔫蔫的,又如何要求下属精神饱满去工作呢?所以要求别人时,自己先做到是很好的策略!

Everyone takes different responsibilities and roles in company, families and society. With great power comes great responsibility, especially leaders. One leader should practice what they preach and be self-disciplined, and he may lead the team well; If the leader is listless, how could he/she requires subordinates to work with passion. It's good tactics - First practice by oneself and then ask others.

第一次看到全情投入时,觉得不好理解,知道全情投入的关键特征:体能很充沛、情感有链接、精神能专注,还有目标感,这样判断是否能够做到全情投入很有层次感,也好理解!

I felt hard to understand on the first sight of "Full Engagement", but easy for key characteristics of "Full Engagement": Physically Energized, Emotionally Connected, Mentally Focused & Purpose Oriented, which seem very logic.

做到精力充沛地很期待地去工作和高高兴兴地回家就很厉害了,我见过的“加班狂”很多时候只是为了打花时间或者逃避回家而已!

Going to work with eager and coming home with happiness is really good. I have seen some so-called "Workaholic" overtiming to kill time or afraid of going home.

文中提到要能够区分和认识到工作和生活的界限,我觉得这只是徒增烦恼而已,随着技术的便利,随时随地办公早已是事实,工作和生活的界限也是越来越模糊,没有必要分得很清!

The authors suggested setting boundaries for work and life, which I interpret unnecessary and unrealistic. Work and life are becoming boundaryless as the development of technology makes working anywhere and anytime a reality.
