The story about Herculas

Herculas was born a demi-god with stupefying strength and stamina. Hera hated him for being born of her husband's adultery. He was stricken mad and committed unspeakable crime. He sought out the Oracle and found King Eurystheus. To expiate his sins, he needed to accomplish the Twelve Labors, such as slaying a lion, killing Hydra, retrieving belt of Hippolyta. He finished all of them and was given a place in Olimpia by Zeus. A hero is someone who has given his or her life to something bigger than oneself.
