第一集

一、句子通俗易懂，却是感情真挚的表达感谢方式

I never would have gone for it with her,if it hadn't been for you.

Ross感谢Chandler让他放下Rachel，走入一段新的感情

二、silver lining:（不幸或失望中的）一线希望；乌云周围的白光

多么形象的描述啊。

But the silver lining, if you wanna see it is that……

两人就是一对冤家，此时Rachel又想要挽回Ross

三、I'm incredibly anal and an unbelievable control freak.（第一次听到这句话我是萌币的）

这个anal在我印象里就是“肛门相关”的意思，引申一下顶多是直肠子，这句子我当时真没看懂，后来查阅英英字典才明白含义（anal:caring too much about small details， especially in a way that annoys other people – used to show disapproval挑剔枝节的；吹毛求疵的）

Phoebe拒绝Monica的请求

对了，Phoebe在希腊神话中是月亮女神哦。

四、I really thought I just hit rock bottom.

rock bottom:the lowest point or level that is possible.

 意思很直观，表达很实用。

For example: Prices hit rock bottom. 

Rachel表达自己失去Ross的失落感
