设置

把某物固定在某一个位置或选择

He set the camera on automatic.
他把相机设在自动档。（有手动、自动档等很多选择，体会一下与put的区别。）

Set the alarm on 7 o'clock.
把闹钟设在七点钟。（也可以设在其他时间。）

Could you set the table for dinner?
能帮忙摆一下桌子吗？要吃晚饭了。（把刀、叉、盘子等摆放到位。）

They set a trap to catch the rabbit.
他们设了个陷阱抓兔子。
