每个民族都会有去一段屈辱的历史，美国也不例外，美国的教科书是怎么向孩子描述一百多年前的美国独立战争的呢？

他们是这么写的。 More than a hundred years ago, there was a great war in our land. King George had sent his soldiers from england to  fight our soldiers. The king's army was called the british army and was very strong. His soldiers had won many battles, but the people of our land were very brave and were not afraid to fight the king's army.

  The women ran to the woods to hide. There were only twelve men and boys at home, but they all brought out guns and got ready to fight. There were four hundred of the british. Soon they came up and began to rob the houses. They took everything that there was to eat. Took even the bed and chairs. They carried off the corn and bean to drive away the cows, pigs and chickens.
