One of the main reasons we often fail to achieve our goals is because we’re impatient.

We’re so used to quick wins, dopamine rushes, and instant gratification that we find it hard to stay consistent and do something for several months before seeing any results.

The truth is, we can get almost anything we want if we’re just willing to work on it with patience and consistency. And that’s what makes it so hard.

Train yourself to delay gratification so you can do what you need to do without becoming too obsessed about the final results.

Instead, fall in love with the process of becoming someone who’s so focused and disciplined that she can continuously do the right things, even if they’re not fun in the short run.
