我翻译的《道德经》第六十一章（2）

原文:

牝常以静胜牡，以静为下。故大邦以下小邦，则取小邦；小邦以下大邦，则取大邦。

译文:

雌柔动物常以柔静制服雄性动物，原因就在于它安静守定并谦下退让。所以，大国对小国谦下忍让，就可以取得小国的信任和依赖；小国对大国谦下忍让，就可以取得大国的信赖。

我的翻译:

A female animal  often conquers a male

animal by quiescence and concession.

So,in the same way,a big country  can win

the trust  of a small one as well as a small

country can  also win the trust of great one.
