Think, in this batter'd Caravanserai

Whose Portals are alternate Night and Day,

How Sultan after Sultán with his Pomp

Abode his destined Hour, and went his way.

沉思，在此处破旧的客店

厅门交替，日日夜夜，

多少世苏丹伴其浮华，

驻足他注定的时刻，逝去他自己的前程。
