From this ted speech, I realized that if i daw a lot of attention to my look, it would infulence my daily life. And also not confident to our looks have a lot of drawbacks, such as undermining the academic achievement and absence with the interview. In this way, we might lose a lot opportunities.
Why we care about our appearance so much? One reason is that the social media always advocate the fit body and good appearance. However, our culture's obsession with image is holding us all back.
I remembered i never gave me a big and wet kiss to myself in the mirror.
Let we show others that the way we look is just one part of our identity.
