Sentences

1. either：也，放在否定句中
   e.g.
   You don't trust him, and you should not trust me , either.
2. either ... or ...：或者...或者...（neither ... nor ... ：既不是...也不是...）
   e.g.
   It's your choice! Either she leaves or I will.

either&neither

• either和neither都可以放在名词前，那表示两者任何一个（either）或者两者都否定（neither）
• 记两个短语，either...or 要么怎么样要么怎么样。和neither...nor...两者都不怎么样。
• 两个都有“也”这个意思，放在否定句中，但用法不同。either是只能放句尾，“..., either.”，但neither是通常形成一个缩略的否定句，后接倒装。I will not go. Neither do I。

3. 特殊疑问句的疑问词：who, what, when, why, how, where等，指代说话者真正想了解的内容，需要回答完成的句子。
4. 问国家：Where are you from ? = where do you come from ?
5. 问国籍：What nationality are you ? = What is your nationality ?
6. What is your job ?（特殊疑问词+系动词+主语） = What do you do ? （特殊疑问词+助动词+主语+谓语）
7. operate（v. 操作）-operation（n. 操作）-operative（adj. 有效的）-operator（n. 操作工）
8. 当普通可数名词（单数）出现时，前面要有限度词（给名词进行限度），比如冠词、代词。
   e.g.
   There is a pen in my bag.
She is an office lady

Grammar

1. 定冠词the
   1）发音：

• [ðə], the books
• [ði], the Americans

2）基本用法：

• 特指某（些）人或事物，常在带有定语的名词前。
  e.g.
  The students in that room are all from SH.
• 用在重新提到的人或事物前面。
• 用在谈话双方都知道的人或事物前面。
• 用在单数可数名词前，表示某一类人或事物。
  e.g.
  The steel worker makes steel. = Steel workers make steel.
  这种用法和不定冠词的相似。

3）特殊用法（不止）：

• 用在世界山独一无二的事物或方位等名词前。
  e.g.
  the world
• 用在序数词、形容词最高级及only所修饰的名词前。
  e.g.
  the third, the fifth
the best, the most beautiful
the only child
• 用在江海、山脉、湖泊、群岛等地理专有名词前。
  e.g.
  the Red Sea
The Yangzi River
the Himalayas
the East China Sea
The UK
The Great Walls：长城
• 用在姓氏的复数姓氏前，表示全家人或这一姓的夫妇二人。
  e.g.
  the Zhangs
• 用在乐器名词前。
  e.g.
  play the guitar
• 和某些形容词连用，表示某一类人或事物。
  the rich
the deaf
the poor
the old

   e.g.
   At the end of the street, I saw her.
5. 越怎么样就越怎么样
   基本结构：the+比较级（+主语+谓语），the+比较级（+主语+谓语)
