我翻译的《道德经》第十九章

原文:

绝圣弃智，民利百倍；

绝仁弃义，民复孝慈；

绝巧弃利，盗贼无有。

此三者以为文不足，故另有所属：

见素抱朴，少私寡欲，绝学无忧。

译文:

绝弃圣智的虚名，民众利好提升百倍；

绝弃仁义的渲染，人民复归自然孝慈；

绝弃巧利的行为，盗贼无有可乘之机。

达此三绝者超越了文字表述的不足，所以另有归纳：

只有秉承外表简素内心纯朴，不断减少私心降低欲望的人，才能真正领悟绝弃学识的无忧境界。

我的翻译:

If leaders give  up  cleverness  and

intelligence,the ordinary people can get more interests.

If leaders  don't  show off their kindness and justice,the  ordinary  people  will  be  more  obedient and friendly.

If leaders don't show their skills of getting many good  things, there won't any robbers and  thieves.

These three things can't be described in words,so we express them in other way:

If  leaders  keep simple, reduce selfishness

and desire, then they won't be worried.
