      Today I will recommend this phonics book to you and your sweet baby. Look at the front cover, I bet you’re going to like this cute puppy at first sight. The author is Alyssa Satin Capucilli. The illustrator is Pat Schories.The language in the stories is very simple, useful and beautiful. The pictures are lively ,vivid and very beautiful as well.

The short e vowel sound

This is a great phonics book. Believe it or not, a 2-year-old kid can easily learn phonics with your a little bit help. If you can’t speak English. That’s no problem. You can download the audio, let your kids listen to it frequently. He/she will read it nicely, even better than you.

      Well, this book is not only about phonics, you could also practice your English with your kids. I like reading <Biscuit> to my son, because my spoken English is not very good. I can’t  keep speaking English to him, but this story book is very interesting, we can talk about Biscuit all the time. And he is always very nice to the animals, especially to the dogs.  You know, dogs are everywhere. He likes greeting the dogs, smiling at them happily. Once we saw a little yellow dog, Simon was very excited to say “Mummy, it’s Biscuit.”                    “Do you like Biscuit?”              “Yes, I like Biscuit very much.”    “Do you like to eat biscuits?” “No...Yes, I want to eat biscuits.”      Very interesting conversations we have had.

So this is a good book for parent-child reading.

What’s its name?    Can you tell me the puppy’s  name? What color is Biscuit? Do you like it? Yes, me too.

        My son, Simon is really a big fan of Biscuit the dog. <I can read phonics —Biscuit > is one of his favorite books.  After he learned the first word “B-I-S-C-U-I-T”from this book, I found he was addicted to English words. Actually, Simon can read the words of the book all by himself. he likes reading words, didn’t pay any attention to the pictures at all. To be honest, I don’t think children learn English words at such an early age like Simon is a good idea. So after the training lessons I have had few days ago, I am going to try my best to act the story for Simon.

Reading could be at anytime and anywhere.
