写在前面的话：

看老友记学英语系列已经分享到第十二期了，希望看了我的分享以后大家的英语能够有所提高，或者对英语的学习方法有所启发。然后能够在生活中能够真正使用英语，可以参考第七期把英语学习融入到生活中去。

这一期要分享一种学习态度，那就是千万不要讲求“差不多”。

你看完一部电影，别人问你，看懂了吗？差不多吧。学一道菜，别人问你，学会了吗？差不多吧。参加一个比赛，别人问你，有信心吗？差不多吧。于是你就变成了差不多先生。

在学语言的过程中这是一个非常不好的习惯，语言就是一个一个的单词组成的，单词又是一个一个的字母组成的，一个字母拼错了，整个单词就错了，整个句子的意思也错了。所以“差不多”的态度会让错误的知识积累在你的大脑里，这样学习过程会越来越难。

怎样才能避免做差不多先生呢？

有很多朋友平时看着很用功，但是考英语四六级的时候却老是不过线。为什么呢，原因就是学习的过程中老是觉得差不多掌握了，把一个单词看到面熟就以为记住了，把一套题看了一遍就以为理解了。但当考试的时候，却一头雾水，单词认识他，他不认识单词。

解决这个问题只要在学习的过程中问自己几个问题就可以了。记完一个单词要问自己，我真正记住了吗？你的大脑不会欺骗你，它会告诉你是的，或者没有。如果没有，你就要再记几遍。遇到一个表达方式，就要问自己，我真的会用了吗？同理，如果得到的答案是否定的，就应该再去查查，词典看这个表达式究竟该怎么用。

我在老友记的学习分享中，会加一些例句，这些例句都不是随便加的，我都是通过查词典首先确保表达和语法是正确的，然后找到词典上可以转移和改造的和我们的生活相近的用法拿下来，加以改造，重新造句。

下面还是接着分享老友记吧。

What have you been up to?最近在忙些什么呢/最近怎么样。固定用法，遇到一段时间不见的朋友可以这么说。

Tan:vi.晒成棕褐色。这个单词就可以记成中文的“碳”，晒成碳黑色了。

Rachel:Mindy?! Mymaid of honour, Mindy?!

Barry:Yeah, well,uh, we're kind of a thing now.

Rachel:Oh! Well,um.. (Grabs his forehand) You've got plugs!

Barry:Careful!They haven't quite taken yet.

解析：

maid of honour：伴娘，I'll be themaid of honour of my best friend.

we're kind of a thing now: 我们是认真的。

Plug：名词有插头的意思，动词有插入；塞住；接插头的意思。This socket only accepts a two-pronged plug.

拓展记忆：

Wrong，错的。既然错了就停下来换方向吧- Pronged，多个方向的。

Pocket,口袋。口袋里有个袜子，sock,袜子里藏了个插座，socket。

Rachel:And you'vegot lenses! But you hate sticking your finger in your eye!

Barry:Not for her.Listen, I really wanted to thank you.

Rachel:Okay..

ortho: ['ɔːθəʊ]:正的

Rachel:What?

Robbie:Me.(Spits.)
