学英语笔记20:《暮光之城》颠覆传统吸血鬼
Twilight Saga 三部曲讲的是作为人类的高中生女孩贝拉 Bela 与青春帅气的吸血鬼爱德华 Edward 之间的爱情故事。作家是：Stephenie Meyer.
她创造了狼人的规则，打破了传统上认为的吸血鬼不能白天出行的限制。
she gets creating a whole folk law for the werewolves and notice how she breaks with the tradition of the vampires not being able to come out durng the day .
只是需要避免阳光下现身，因为那样他们的皮肤会闪烁着金刚石般的光芒。
They avoid the bright sunlight because then thier skin glints 闪烁 with diamonds .
吸血鬼有个同名词——德拉库拉——Bram Stoker's Dracula ,因为这部电影而出名。
爱德华所在的卡伦家族 Cullen caln 已对人类的血液断了念想。

他们通常以动物为食，通常是些有行为失常的动物。

SO they are do-good-ters 做善事的人 which is totally in contradiction to the folkloric vampires.

she is a really interesting job for grabbing not only the younger generatin but a lot of generations straight across the board with what now becomes almost acceptable .
that what was once the evil monster that how dread for everyone in the dark of night has now become an absolutely beautful creatrue with a good heart who wants to help and protect mankind .
