【海伦带你学语法】 第六天  零冠词的用法（一）

零冠词是指在名词前不用冠词，主要用法包括：

①物质名词用于泛指概念时。如：

Without air and water，we can't live.没有水和空气，我们就不能生存。

Shanxi is rich in coal.山西有丰富的煤矿。

②抽象名词用于泛指概念时。如：

She is fond of music.她很喜欢音乐。

Time is money.时间就是金钱。

Practice makes perfect.熟能生巧。

③可数名词用于泛指概念时。如：

Books are necessary for teachers and students.书对老师和学生来说是必需的。

Tigers are dangerous animals.老虎是十分危险的动物。

④表示称呼、职位等时。如：

Jack，monitor of our class，is a big boy.我们的班长杰克是个大男孩。

Husband and wife ought to be socially equal.丈夫和妻子在社会地位上应该是平等的。

⑤表示一日三餐、星期、月份、季节、年份、节日等时。如：

We usually have lunch at 12 o'clock.我们经常12点吃中饭。

We have English classes on Tuesday and Thursday.我们周二和周四有英语课。

School begins in autumn and ends in winter.学校秋季开学，冬季结束。

不过，表达中国传统节日时往往加定冠词，如：the Spring Festival春节，the Dragon-Boat Festival端午节，the Mid-Autumn Festival中秋节。

⑥表示地名、街名、校名等专有名词（由普通名词构成的专有名词除外）前。如：

China is a large country.中国是个大国。

Mary lives on Nanjing Road.玛丽住在南京路。
