If you want to write a widely spread article, first of all, you have to have some fresh ideas and good stories. Secondly you should be capable of using them. The problem of some wirters is that they have enough material, but they don't make good use of these material.
A good writer I know ususally compared himself to a craftsman who practice a lot to make a good product from his material.
You need a lot of practice to become a good wirter. Don't complain. Success won't come to you unless you go to it.
