Don't judge a person by how he/she looks.”

You use judging by, judging from, or to judge from to introduce the reasons why you believe or think something.

例子

He seems to have been a popular person, judging by the number of people at his funeral.

She was very disappointed, judging from what she said.

Judging by the opinion polls, he seems to be succeeding...

Judging by growth or innovation, it has excelled compared with most other countries at its income level. (这句里excel用得很比较,表示“to be better than others.”)

The Democrats' neglect is over, judging by spending on state-level races this year.

Juding from/by my profession experience, she will be competent at the job.

Juding from what she behaved, she must have win the contest.
