The Lord is my anchor, I shall not go astray

He keeps me when I sail, and provide me a refuge bay

Even the waves of the world overwhelm me, 

and sometimes I deviate, 

He calls me from the light house

and guides me so that I return safe

Tend to wander, tend to adventure, 

Oh Lord forgive me I love the waves, 

yet bind my heart to thy anchor,

the anchor that secures an eternal place
