On Mission to the Frontier

Driving a carriage to the frontier to see the soldiers,

passing from Shuguo along to Juyan.

The weed blowed outside the frontier of Han,

And I see the goose flying into Hu’s sky.

The still lonely smoke from the dessert,

And the round sunset along the riverside.

When I arrive in Xiao’s frontier,

I run into a solider, reporting

The commander is in Yanran.
