Hello and welcome to my class.In today's lesson I'm going to teach you a very good and useful trick how to write essay and organize your opinions in a better way.
(一).Brainstorm
Here's a topic about going to bed early is better or staying up late is better?
2分钟准备时间:1.可以列提纲 2.可以小范围讨论 3.语言不限(汉英均可)
Give your poinion one by one :1.每人必须表达观点 2.计时表达(不超过1分钟)
老师观察:1.words 2. body language 3.voice
老师记录:1.精彩的观点 2.全场最佳选手
Going to bed early is better VS late is better. 这个辩题,整个分享完毕,选择Going to bed late is better.的 仅有3名同学。但这3名同学起到了非常“引燃”的作用,他们的论点极其精准,且在众多正方论点中显得尤为突出且新颖,一轮结束,学生们的思维已经调动起来,活泛起来,要求再来一轮。
我:这会大家应该比较有体会了吧。所谓辩论,不是吵架,它的存在能够让你对自己的观点了解的更加全面、清晰。
(二)How to express and organize our opinion
不管你打哪个位置,你都可以这样表达和总结自己的观点。
1.State your general opinion about topic.
The only thing you have to do :Clear and restate the topic
For example:In my opinion,I believe it is better to go to bed early. I have 3 reasons why I think going to bed early is better than staying up late.
2.Give 3 supporting reasons.
One thing you must be sure : esay understanding
For example:
Firstly,science shows that an hour of sleep before midnight is worth two hours of sleep after midnight. In other words,you will fill more rested the next day.
Secondly,....... have a more productive morning ,that is because ..... higher energy level.
Finally.....weight management....
三个论据支撑我们的论点。如何找论据? 专家观点、解释说明、举例子。
3.Restate your opinion.
(Always recap)总结重述
For example:So for these 3 reasons ,I believe that going to bed is better than to bed late.

论据3: 连接词: Thirdly/ Last but not least/ Finally

记录:
学生先对Social Media进行百科确定范围 对象:children
之后进行拆解,列关键词,分类
正方主要观点
疫情足不出户方便交流;全世界交友;视野开阔信息传递快捷;知识资源渠道丰富;
反方主要观点:
网络暴力严重;自控力差玩物丧志;电信网络诈骗,虚假信息;隐私外漏;大人沉迷社交媒体忽略家庭对孩子影响;
