English Collocations in Use Adva

汉语量词丰富，让学中文的歪果仁抓狂。英语的量词也不少，今天就学到了几个：

1. snippets of information: small pieces of information
   Do you have any snippets of information about our new boss to tell us?

2. a barrage of questions/insults/criticism: a lot of questions
   The Minister faced a barrage of questions from reporters.

3. a spate of attacks/thefts: a large number of similar things that happen in a short period of time, especially bad things
   The party lost power three years ago after a spate of political scandals.
