Today I have watched a pastry cook make cake with my roommate who,and I were all astonished by his excellent craft.Firstly, he took a big cake from the refrigerator then cut them crosswise into three parts. Secondly,we saw he scoop up some jam and smear it on one of the three cake pieces. He Continually smear another kind of jam on the second cake pieces and rebuild these cake pieces as their former image. Thirdly, he began to make cream,to make it he needs tools like blender or stirring rod and food like milk and eggs.But because we were in bakery store and there were various kinds of materials available so it was no need to make cream by ourselves.He just used the cream available .After that he poured a drop of pigment edible into cream,with fixing and stirring we got light blue cream. Next process is what I think most difficult as it extremly depend on cook'patience. According this kind and honest cook,he has worked for ten years and such project is just a common meal. So we saw he rotated the chunk while smeared the cream on it sufficiently,"Don't regard it as an easy thing, it actually showed exquisite craft and high concentration of the maker."the cook smiled to us.After no more than 2 minutes, a basic model of the final cake has been accomplished. We were all surprised and expected to quickly saw a beautiful cake. The eventual step is to decorate some fruits,images and a lovely toy.The cook prepared many kinds of fruits and selected odd ones of each kind, cutting them into pieces or little trunks. And little toy was placed in the centre of the surface,surrounding by colorful and fresh fruits,together with light blue cream formed a cute picture ,this final work called the memory to childhood in our hearts awaken,and also tempted our taste buds.
