This is a very classical English pic book written by Bill Martin Jr/Eric Carle, honestly I have read it many times before, the reason I picked it up today was I thought I needed to read the books again, maybe I would have different view about it.
英文绘本讲师训练营【15期】24/21《Brown bear, brown bear, What do u see?》阅读原创Start from the cover, i saw a brown bear and this might be the one the title told us, his face was lovely enough to attract the kids’ attention. When I turned to the front page, I saw lots of colors stood in line which told the basic concept to the readers. Here came to the 1st page, “Brown bear, brown bear, what do u see? I see a red bird looking at me.” Coz I have read this book before, I knew this book was suitable for singing, this time I found I need to be focus on the characters, I needed to like a narrator reading the first sentence, I needed to be a “brown bear” when I read the second sentence. When it came to the 2nd page, I needed to be like a narrator when I read “red bird red bird what do u see?”, I needed to be like a red bird when I sang “I see a yellow duck looking at me”. By reading every page of the book, the reader can learn the animals and colors by many effective repetition. When we came to the last page, all the animals got together, like doing the review both for the teller and the listener.
英文绘本讲师训练营【15期】24/21《Brown bear, brown bear, What do u see?》阅读原创This time’s reading read enlarge my view how to read this book, the first thing I thought was the story teller needed to like the book and be happy when he or she was reading the book, this time I found I did it, I sang the song with the fun of melody and rhythm. The second thing I thought was that the story teller really need to preview the book before he or she read it to the kids, this is so important.
